Profile Update Workflow
This page documents how Makaio Butler's public profile is kept current. It is unlisted and not indexed, but it is not access-protected — treat it as internal notes only and keep credentials out of it.
1 · Edit the Airtable record
Update and verify Makaio Butler's fields in the BM3 Airtable base — measurements, GPA, timed metrics, film link, contacts. Airtable stays the single source of truth.
2 · The site pulls the record automatically
On every visit the server reads the Athletes record straight from Airtable and maps the verified fields onto the profile. Results are cached for about a minute, so a change appears within roughly 60 seconds. No manual edit, copy/paste, or redeploy is needed.
3 · Every section updates at once
The hero, measurements, GPA, reported 40 time, bio, film link, social links, and coach card all read from that one synced object, so nothing can fall out of step.
4 · PDF rebuilds from the same data
The recruiting PDF is generated on download from the live record, so the file a coach saves always matches the page — including the Hudl QR code and clickable links.

The Airtable connection is read-only and runs on the server, so no Airtable key is ever sent to a visitor's browser. If Airtable is unreachable, the profile automatically falls back to the last saved copy instead of showing blanks.
Data integrity rule
Only Airtable-verified values are published. No stats, awards, offers, varsity starts, rankings, or coach interest are added without a record. Metrics with no recorded verification details are published with a “reported” flag — the 40 time currently carries that flag.
